Not happy with your purchase? Grounded Roots offers a 14-day return policy on all plants, which means you have fourteen days after purchasing your plant to request a return.
If an order is made for pickup or delivery, the 14-day window starts when your order is marked as ready for delivery or pickup. Grounded Roots is not responsible for plants marked as ready for pickup or delivery which are not picked up or scheduled for delivery after fourteen days. We do reserve the right to refuse a return if the following conditions are not met. To be eligible for a return, there must be proof of purchase, within the 14 days, in only the forms of a text, email, paper, or gift receipt from Grounded Roots. All non-plant accessories such as planters, grow lights, apparel, etc., are subject to a 30-day return policy. The item(s) must be in its original condition: unused with tags and in its original packaging.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your plants upon reception and contact us immediately if you feel your plant is not in a suitable shape. We will evaluate your concern and offer to replace with the same item if in stock, or refund your purchase. Any dormant plant issues originating from our grower, such as pest or disease, will be apparent immediately upon reception. We take full responsibility for any such issues going unnoticed and seek to correct an instance of this nature ASAP.
Customer-related neglect such as inappropriate watering, lighting, or exposure to heat vents or extreme cold will damage your plant and identification of the aforementioned will disqualify eligibility for return.
Returns on non-plant inventory as described above must be unused, with its original packaging and no visible wear and tear for it to be eligible for return.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain rare plants, as indicated in their product description, are non-returnable.
All soil and pest-control products are non-returnable once opened.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
Any plant deemed to be less than satisfactory is eligible for exchange of the same plant, or another plant of similar value and the difference will be refunded or charged.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
